Efficiency of no-till technology is appreciated both based on obtained crops and the cost of the unit production or on the basis of agrochemical indices (humus content, grade of mineral nitrogen (NO3, NH4), mobile phosphorus, exchangeable potassium, etc. With regrets about the meaning and evolution of the physical characteristics, the conclusions are drawn based on field observations aimed at incorporating soil water by measuring the wetted layer thickness, resistance of penetration that is determined using a simple method of metal rings in soil etc.
